Green Is The New Black

Skyscraper as a movie totally rocks, although it was much-reported as a bomb in the States due to various reasons. The fact that it was aimed at the Chinese market when the trade war was currently on-going, would not helped, by my reckoning. Still, cast away your political bias and walk into the cinema purely for the reason of being entertained by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in his role as a former-militaryman-turned-most-protective-father-in-the-world; and you would not be disappointed.

Since he was playing the role of the military man, I gathered that wearing the BR03-92 Military Type along with camouflage gear, would be the ideal watch to bring along to the cinema.

After all, Green is the new Black, a fact that the collector whom just collected the Hulk from me would earnestly agree. And with the real world prices of green pieces such as Hulk (RM48k!) and SLA019 (RM18k!) sky-scraping to new heights, collectors were rushing head-over-heels hunting for such pieces. Even Ethan Hunt would be facing an impossible mission to look for new pieces at AD RRP pricing- no sir, you would just have to pay a premium like everyone else.

Back to the BR03-92 MT, it can't compete with the above examples in terms of WR (MT has 100m vs the above at 300m) but then again, it was made for a different element i.e. the skies. It's unique aviation instrument shape and ceramic case, made this piece wear substantially different from other green pieces.

And for a non-diver watch, it's lume does kick ass to an extent.

There you have it, folks; green is the new black and when green is encased in a black ceramic case, it definitely pops out!
