Capt America & Hulk

A collector drove all the way from Johore to pick up the discontinued Blumo this morning, so I thought what better way to send off the 6R15-based Blumo but with a similar 6R15-based Green Lantern. Since Blumo was in the colour of Capt America, Green Lantern could be the Hulk then.

And of course, the rest of the crew could be designated, albeit in a fun way, as the following :

Iron Man being the one with the most passion and soul to save Earth, so MM300 would be a befitting piece. Thor had grown all fat and puffy, so the Soxa Turtle being round and all should be for him. Captain Marvel swept over everything like the force of the tsunami no less, and Black Widow operated like a well-equipped submarine albeit with her orange-red hair. Hawkeye with the pointy arrows like the SKX007-PO's, and Spider-Man with his new hi-tech gear. And there's Hulk and Capt America for the obvious connection.

Anyway, I digressed. Let's come back to the Captain America that we were sending off today. Here he was, in all his glory, ready to take on more battles over at Johore :

Haha, yes, I equipped him with the Batman ceramic bezel so that he could alternate between Capt America and Batman come day and night.

It's a quiet morning as I waited for the collector to swing by Pool Cafe. Nice, fresh air admist the chirping of the birds and the monkeys chattering up the coconut trees. I have the Hulk on my wrist.

The collector soon came and he had a Tudor GMT on his wrist. Unfortunately, the leather was rather scratched on the underside and he asked if I have any options available. A few collectors had been picking up the exotic stingray leather straps from me, so I brought a couple to him and he was a happy man with this selection :

These were really premium straps, and you won't find these readily-available when you stroll into watch shops. And attached to the Tudor GMT, you would know that there would not be other owners sporting the Tudor GMT with the same strap. That would make his Tudor GMT stand out from the rest of the sea of similar pieces.

Well, he might have came with the GMT; but he soon adorned the Blumo and it seemed really at home on his wrist. Glad that Capt America had found a good partner to continue the good fight with.

Thanks for swinging by today and have a safe drive back to Johore later, mate!
