The title translated to "Not in stock for highly-demanded Rolex watches". Well, this was a common occurrence at Rolex ADs all over the world when it came to selected pieces; but you had to give the thumbs-up to the Korean AD for putting up the notice so that it would not was either parties' time asking about the same oft repeated question over and over again. 

So while you might not understand Korean, it's stated pretty clearly that there were no Daytona Ceramic (While/Black), Submariner Date (Hulk/Black), DSSD-Blue, GMT-Batman, SD43, and SkyDweller. What could you expect if you still walk into the shop then?

Well... the usual suspects that most collectors don't buy in a rush.

SKX009J1 : Badge of Honour

You know that it has been a good few days of sun, sea, and sand when you take off your watch and noticed that it had marked its presence on your wrist. The watch in question was the Seiko SKX009J1 and it had performed flawlessly- no surprise there!

The real surprise was when a couple of guys at the resort here, asked about this very watch; which had me realised that they had mistaken it as the new Rolex GMT Pepsi. Point taken that they were not real WIS, or they would have noticed the tonnes of differences; but still high praise indeed for a cheap and disposable Seiko diver.

I haven't downloaded the GoPro footage from the snorkelling trips, so I could only put in a reference picture as per the following :

The kids had plenty of fun too at the kids' section of the resort, so it had been a great fun for all parties.

All too soon, it was time to bid the Vitamin Sea goodbye; as the next leg of the vacation would take us to the hustle and bustle of city life in another country. Well, am hoping to pack a trip to a couple of ADs into the programme there and hopefully, I could sport on some nice watches to pick up to bring back to Malaysia soon!
