A Quick Glance : Blumo Stock Vs Blumo Double-Domed Vs SuMMo

So there were a couple of queries on how the Seiko Sumo became the Seiko SuMMo as shown @ https://andywristwatches.blogspot.com/2019/01/franken-mod-seiko-summo.html. Okay, let's take a look at how the Seiko Sumo would look like fresh out of the ADs :

Basically, the Seiko Sumo Classic (SBDC031) had received a nick and tuck in the form of Seiko MM300 dial, Seiko MM300 full hands set, LCBI lured ceramic insert, and CT double-domed sapphire crystal to have it looking like this :

And this was a Seiko Blumo (SBDC033) that I had installed CT double-domed sapphire crystal, but left everything else intact.

And finally, this was another Seiko Blumo (SBDC033) that had everything internal stock standard, except for some minor cosmetic upgrades.

If you looked at the pictures of all 3 watches, you could gauge that there were obvious differences in terms of bezel, dial, hands, and sapphire crystal. The Sumo was a very versatile piece, and it was really up to you to wear it stock standard or to have it transformed into a different beast altogether.

And here it was next to a Turtle Reissue in case you thought that the Sumo was really, ummm... Sumo-sized! It actually looked rather petite next to the cushion-cased Turtle.

I am letting go the Blumo in stock standard format for RM1.5k to any interested collectors. At circa 50% discount compared to a new Blumo, this would be the buy that you couldn't afford to miss- if you were in the market for a Blumo!

And just to make it all the more interesting, I would include free a brand new Dagaz set of hands (RRP : USD29.50) for the Blumo purchaser! I have a collection of 20 full hands set for various designs from Dagaz, so I would do a random pick for the free gift :)
