An update on the watches that are/were in my collection, as per the following :
Current :
1) 1978 Pagol Sub-Second Date 3055;
2) 2005 Tag Heuer Kirium Ti5;
3) 2012 Rolex Submariner 116610LV;
4) 2012 Rolex Explorer 2 216570;
5) 2013 Tudor Pelagos Ti5;
6) 2014 Panerai Luminor Marina Logo Acciaio 00005;
7) 2015 Omega Speedmaster Panda;
8) 2015 Casio G-Shock Rangeman Wave-Ceptor;
9) 2015 Casio G-Shock Camo;
10) 2015 Seiko Tuna Scallop 50th Anniversary SE.
After thinning down my watch collection substantially, I must add that it felt more manageable with all watches getting wrist times instead of sitting pretty in the winder cases only (barring the Pagol and Pam, which had hand-winding calibers; and Tag Heuer and Casios, which had quartz movements).
Of course, there had been urges to add new pieces into the collection; but then I would ask myself if there were any pieces that I would let go to accommodate the new piece and I inadvertently found myself thinking long and hard.
Oh well, I am still interested in the Speedmaster Professional (the 3570.50.00 with hesalite, yummy) if a reasonably-priced good piece appears in the secondary market, or the Ocean Gold Tuna for its over-engineered technical marvel. Well, one can dream...

My Dad used to be a watchsmith- and I grew up watching him taking watches apart for servicing and repair works, before re-assembling all the tiny parts into fully-working items of marvel again. It's no surprise then that I was intrique into the world of watches since a young age. P/S : This is a watch site from an enthusiast to fellow enthusiasts, so you won't be bothered by adverts here. Just pure watch-reading fun, if you're into this. Enjoy the ride...
