SOLD : Ball Engineer Spacemaster Orbital 2

So further to my advert on the Spacemaster Orbital 2 @ https://andywristwatches.blogspot.my/2017/11/wts-ball-engineer-hydrocarbon-space.html, there had been quite a fair bit of interests on the said watch. However, I prefer to do a COD deal at Kuala Lumpur so that the prospective buyer could check the watch in person but most of the potential buyers had been located external of KL.

Indeed, if I were opened to using courier the send the watch out, it would have been long gone from my collection. But a previous experience whereby an in-coming watch was sent to the wrong address by the courier, had caused me much anxiety and I realised that it was not worth running up and down and chasing on the progress of the matter, yet with the courier company shrugging the matter off. And courier companies no longer permit for all-risk insurances for luxury watches (IIRC, the ceiling was set at RM2k only); so imagine how would you feel if you couriered out a RM26k watch and only got back RM2k in compensation, while your buyer was left all high and dry. No Sirree, it's down to simply COD for me for the interim period.

And along came this buyer whom was ready to pick up the watch here in KL. A gentlemen's agreement then and I hope that this rare watch would go to a deserving buyer whom could give it lots of wrist times.

This is a great hobby for getting to know like-minded timepiece hobbyists indeed. And I dare say that this is a great deal for such a rare and premium watch, and under official Ball warranty too.
