Just before 12 o'clock, the fireworks started to blast at various spots of the landscape. We had parked ourselves at the balcony to view the display- and my youngest son was very excited indeed. There were the ones from Publika, 1Mont Kiara, Curve, KLCC, Genting Highlands, etc.
In about 10 minutes, there was a blanket of smoke across the bigger malls; and we retreated back to the comfort of the living room to continue our drinks and family time.
And earlier the night, my spouse saw me at the watch winders choosing the perfect watch to accompany the arrival of the new year ahead. My choice for the special change of date- Daytona diamond dial, which reflected lights like stars as the fireworks display of various colours and shapes took over the skies!
We would be going to Pulau Ketam (Crab island) for seafood later the day, so time to see the boys to bed. See you readers in the next entry and have yourselves a Happy New Year celebration!
