Tudor's Best for 2018 and What's Next for 2019

During Baselworld 2018, Tudor struck gold with its Black Bay Pepsi GMT. It had positive reviews from many watch blogs and buyers alike, and would go on to be on on sold-out status in many ADs worldwide. Prices quickly went on a premium- a first for Tudor, as its models tend to be discounted for interested buyers.

In fact, Hodinkee highlighted it as one of the best daily-beater pieces that collectors could get!

This was the very watch that I was wearing today. It was sporty and versatile, and the GMT function useful for the jet-setter and businessmen on the go. Altogether, an almost perfect piece in my collection!

So, if this was widely-regarded as Tudor's best for 2018, what's next for the brand to up its ante for 2019 then?

Well, it released a New Year greeting video- and if you were eagle-eyed, you might have chanced upon some of its models like the BB GMT Pepsi...

and also an Easter Egg in the form of a Submariner. Is Tudor re-looking into its history vault and ready to launch this piece during Baselworld 2019? Given the direction that it had taken over the last few years, it won't be surprising, and I sure would be excited to see this Tudor Submariner Burgundy in the near future!
